Pat O’Dwyer - Art Courses - “Painting with a Knife”
Over the past ten years I have developed and refined a technique of creating vibrant works in oils by use of the palette knife.
I love to demonstrate this technique, to share with you my secrets, and show you how to avoid the possible pitfalls by careful planning of your painting.
My popular ‘Painting with a Knife’ workshops provide an exciting introduction to this method for artists of all levels and experience - and are held at a location to suit you.
I am now taking bookings for one-day workshops. Numbers are limited to 6 to allow for maximum benefit.
My next workshop will be in Ballinspittle Community Centre on July 10th at 11.00 am. Contact me beforehand at 086 3809188.
It is so easy to organise.
Why not get a group together at a suitable location?
Contact me to discuss details re course content, etc.
Hereunder is a happy group from a recent workshop in Clonakilty, all with their completed paintings.
So why not have a "funday" of painting, and learn "how to plan and paint with confidence"
Please contact me to discuss location and details of workshops.
This brief sequence shows how I develop the structure of my paintings, starting from a blank canvas and ending with the finished painting.
This is the technique that I teach in my Workshops. Enjoy!
